Online Classroom TrainingProvided by Southwest Technical College The on-line Classroom Instruction program from Southwest Technical College (SWTC), an alternative to the traditional classroom, is accomplished completely on-line for the convenience of home-school students, students with schedule conflicts, or students unable to take a traditional program. This program has been approved and meets the requirements of the State of Wisconsin, DOT (Department of Transportation, DPI (Department of Public Instruction, and TCS (Technical College System). SWTC's qualified instructors have received additional training specific to online teaching. In addition to the 30 hours of Online Classroom Training provided by SWTC, state law requires students to take 6 hours of Behind-The-Wheel Training.
